Arkham Horror

You explore the city of Arkham, trying to close dimensional gates and fight cultists. You gather weapons and clues to prepare for a final confrontation with a powerful boss. It is very atmospheric. This game sits right in the middle of being accessible but still offering a good strategic puzzle. I like pulling it out when we want a solid hour of thinking without burning out. The components hold up nicely to regular play, which is a big plus. It is fun to watch your plans slowly come together, even if someone occasionally gets in your way. Grab a drink, set it up, and you will have a solid evening of tabletop gaming.
