Twilight Imperium

You lead a unique alien civilization in a massive galactic space opera. You expand your empire through military might and political negotiation. The game takes all day to finish but tells an epic story you will talk about for weeks. It takes a few rounds to really understand the mechanics, but after that, it flows nicely. You will want to play it a few times to try different strategies. I usually bring this out when we have a group that wants something engaging but not overly complicated. The components are well made and hold up to frequent use. It is a reliable option for a game night when people are tired of the usual stuff. Make sure you have a decent sized table to set everything up properly.
