You take turns placing tiles to build a medieval landscape of walled cities and roads. Then you drop your followers on the board to claim those features for points. It is very calm but can get quite competitive. It takes a few rounds to really understand the mechanics, but after that, it flows nicely. You will want to play it a few times to try different strategies. I usually bring this out when we have a group that wants something engaging but not overly complicated. The components are well made and hold up to frequent use. It is a reliable option for a game night when people are tired of the usual stuff. Make sure you have a decent sized table to set everything up properly.
